Remote Authentication Dial In User Service
   Abbreviated RADIUS. A thirdparty authentication server attached to a network.
   Remote users dial in to the server, and the access server requests authentication services from the RADIUS server. The RADIUS server authenticates users and gives them access to network resources. The access server is acting as a client to the RADIUS server.
